most early admission programs require you to apply to one school only.
How will they know if a person applies to few early admission programs? Can they track it down?

If the schools participate in PharmCAS, then I assume PharmCAS is the one that limits your application to 1.

And isn't the clause with early decision, that if you are accepted you must go there?

So i think you would run into major issues if you applied to more than one.

can a person apply to his/her number one choice school as early admission and then to other schools that do not participate in Pharmcas? This way if a person gets accepted to his or her number one choice school, he or she goes there anyway?

Yes, I think. My friend applied to one school (thru pharmcas) & Sullivan (directly) both as an EARLY ADMISSION. Good luck

PharmCAS will only allow you to apply to one ED program in their system. All other programs really can't monitor you.

Just curious, are your chances of getting in much higher if you do Early Decision? What happens if you don't get in to your school of choice? can you then apply for schools after you are declined for 2009?

I got in through ED. I felt my chances were much better than being put in the pool with 1500 other apps as opposed to 50 or so. And yes you can apply to other programs if you are declined. They are required to let you know before the first regular application deadlines.
