I've heard of programs such as FlexMed and Medstart and wanted to know if they're truly worth it.
Some people say that students who get into med school are actually less prepared than students who get into med school the traditional way. I just completed my first year of college and I was thinking about trying for one of these programs but idk if I should. is there anyone that has gone through the process and can guide me??

There is no harm in applying for it. I don't think there should be any difference in "being prepared for medical school" between the early assurance route versus the traditional way since even with the early assurance programs you will be completing the same courses in the same amount of time as a traditional med school applicant.
