How many people went through these kinds of programs? I've recently found an osteopathic university that offers a program for sophomores/juniors during undergraduate studies. You apply during those two years and have a min of 3.5 gpa, taken all the pre-med classes before matriculation, and get a min 25 on the MCAT and you are a walk in to the D.O. program...

I've decided to apply after Spring this year.. Any of you done this? Thanks!

I believe that KCOM has a program like this with Truman State University (same town), but I'm not sure on the specifics. I didn't do the program, but I know some people that did.

the program first talked about is offered at Des Moines. Ive looked around to see if any other DO programs offer anything like it and i found one, but they require that you have already taken the MCAT before applying, which I will have not have done. so yea, if you are looking for an early acceptance program, go with Des Moines. the link is below

Hi,

Does anybody know what are the typical 'stats' that are required to be accepted? I know it says, 3.5, etc, but what are the actual? Thanks alot.

Dan.

I got into Wake Forest with Early Assurance. My GPA was about 3.8 overall, 3.9 Sciences. I think they look at EC's more than straight GPA though, but make sure that you meet the required GPA. Im sure there were 4.0's that applied, you just have to be well rounded when you apply. Good luck!
