I know there are dozens of these threads out there, but myine is in regards to OOS programs. I am a Texas resident so please do not say JAMP or Mt. Sinai or SUNY. I want something that is OOS (if possible).Does anybody know any?

I do not know of any OOS, but as a TX resident I would highly advise rethinking your current thought. How badly do you want to leave TX?

I want to leave very bad. I have been in TX for my entire life. I have come from a long line of "premeds" in my cultural community, so it kinda gets old (just a little) when I hear: "Hey Larry, did you know your uncle X just graduated from ut southwestern...."

Any advice would be appreciated.

you do realize that you can still leave during residency and besides Texas is very cheap, in that case, you will graduate with less debt.

well, most studdents graduate with at least 100-250k when they graduate medical school. I really want to leave TX because:

1. I want to escape my loving (a little too loving parents)
2. To experience what the rest of the US has to offer since i have been in TX forever...
