i know medical schools have programs where you can apply earlier in your undergrad years without having finished all your prereqs and you are guaranteed a spot into med school. are there are dental schools that do this?

yeah they have it for dental school. u of phit does it. all you have to do is get 26 or better on your dat. Which if you look at statistics only like 5-8 people do out of everyone who took dat last year.

a bunch of schools do: suny buffalo, suny upstate, toledo, mount sinai, and bunch of others

yeah buffalo has early assurance for med and dental school..

its not the easiest program to be accepted to, but if you can get into it, its a great idea

I know that SUNY Buffalo has an early assurance program for dental student.

are there any others? i'd really like to apply if there are, but i think i'd hate being at buffalo lol

thanks for the info about tufts. do you have to be a tuft undergrad (i assume you do)? i'm already a soph at another school.

You have to be an undergraduate at Tufts, but they also have an 8-year program with Adelphi University

i don't go to adelphi 🙁 thanks again for the info. i've seen a bunch of these where you have to be at certain schools that will allow you to apply early, but only if you go to those particular schools. buffalo will allow people from any school to apply. do you know of any others that do that?

hmm so maybe there aren't any more.

in that case, does anyone know if buffalo's is binding? i can't find it on their website
