Do DO schools have early decision programs or anything like it?

Also one more question. I know that for MD programs, the earlier you submit, the better your chances. So for DO schools, what is the criteria? Is the earliest June and what is the latest?

Thanks

Touro - MI has an early decision (kinda). If you submit early enough and they pick you for the early interview (1st one of the cycle) then you can decide if you want to be considered for early admission or regular admission.

The early admissions program a COMP has an exclusivity clause, where you cant apply to any other schools untill a later date. Personally I wouldn't want to limit myself. In order to go through early admissions you must have stats that are on par with the schools average, if you have those stats you are very likely to be admitted to that school and many others. I would simply have my primary ready to submit by the date aacomas opens, and have my secondary materials ready no later than 30 days after that. Get your rec letters before june, all the professors will be harder to get in touch with and the pre-med comitees may not meet during the summer.

I don't know. I went on their web site and clicked "early decision program" but it didn't tell me anything. I don't know if this helps, but last year's entering class had a 3.5+ GPA and about a 25 MCAT.

One at TCOM has similar exclusivity clause as well. You can only apply to other schools after Oct 1st if you are not accepted.
