Hi all:

With all this talk about the advantage of sending out the applications early, I was just wondering: What is the definition of early/late anyway? We're only in week 2 here-can it be too late already?

Personally I have my CAF, Profile, Board scores, and PS (just sent today) in so far. Transcripts are a school affair (should go out next week) and the awkwardly sized 2.5x3.5 photo arrival date is TBA, but surely this shouldn't hold things up?

PS- Anyone, please reply as early as possible! (JK)

I would just send out your main stuff (Application, PS, USMLE transcript) by mid-september and you should be fine. LOR's can be added later as they arrive, and you should go by your schools policy regarding transcripts as some schools will only upload one transcript during the app cycle. Your dean's letter doesn't go out until Nov 1st and I've heard that some programs won't consider you until they've received that, but Nov 1st is really late in the app process and you will probably have more difficulty getting interviews if you are that late with everything else.
