I plan on graduating a semester early, will this negatively affect my application?

No, I really think some people are this anal. It's just fun to read these posts and realize how uptight predents are. Although, I must admit that predents are nowhere as uptight as premeds.

People, I realize this is a forum for questions but, some of the questions are insulting even. I mean, how is studying harder and taking more courses in a shorter time going to make you look bad? The point is that you get a degree. That's it! And the fact that you did it in 3.5 years is great. 👍

Some people are going to be in for a shock in dental school when their mommy can't hold their hand anymore and they find themselves swimming with the sharks. You need to swim.

Actually I asked a certain school about this and they started telling me stuff how it's not good for me to be out of school, they'd like to see me progress with my studies...how I should do research...etc. Then I called Temple and they were like whatever we dont' care as long as you have your degree. So I was wondering who I should listen to.

I agree that you shouldn't sit on your a$$ and watch TV for 8 months. If I were the dean of a dental school, I'd rather have my student graduate a semester early, get a job and also travel the world. See what's out there. Have an adventure. That's what I would do and plan on doing this summer.

Honestly, chill and enjoy the ride. You're going to be a dentist! That is sooooo freakin sweet 😀
