I just received an interview invite that stated they had an early interview group (in November) and the regular group (late November to Jan). I was wondering if anyone has had similar experience in the past and if there is any advantages to going to those "early dates" as opposed to the regular dates. Thanks!!

do you mind revealing which boston program you are referring to?

The boston program is BIDMC.

I would attend one of the earlier dates if it is an option for you. The faculty interviewing know that the first two dates are reserved for "priority candidates" so regardless of any other variables they will hold you in higher regard just based on the fact that you are interviewing in that group. That being said, I wouldn't stress about it if you cannot make one of the early dates.
