Early match

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
What specialties require an early match? I tried looking on the Careers in Medicine website, but no luck.

as far as I know, only ophthalmology and urology - I'm pretty sure everything else uses the NRMP.

Don't know if this helps but found this forum:

I looked at that post before, but since its an old post (2007) I wasn't sure if things have changed. I know Child Neurology, Ophthalmology and some positions in Plastic Surgery use the San Fran early match program. But I wasn't sure about other programs, like neurology (regular, not child), derm, or rad onc. And does anyone know for sure that Neurosurgery and Urology use an early match?

You're right, child neuro, ophtho and some plastic surgery use SF match, Urology has its own match. Everything else you listed (neuro, derm, rad onc, neurosurg, and some plastics) uses the NRMP as of 2010.
