In USA IM can get 120-150 as a hospitalist, on the base of 150 take home is 8000 pm,how is Canada especially Ontario.Is it worth doing one extra year in Canada to enter as a IM specialist.

$$$ is a concern, a big one! not that we crave for money, but because many of us are in some serious debts when we graduate. no one wants to have to carry the debts for years.

when we graduate, many of us would wanna start a family, and some of us have to financially support our parents too. $$$$ is a big big big concern! when we become a specialist and debt-free, then talk about being generous to us.

Does anyone know, how much it would be for a hospitalist just after completing residency in Canada?
I just need to compare it to US.
