Just so we're clear: the guy posting the thread complaining about all the neurotic premeds is the same one posting about a good book to review anatomy before starting med school.
Dubin's is also a great EKG version of the same type of thing. Comical, simple, and extremely informative.

While a great book, there is really zero reason anyone should be reading that to prepare for medical school.
Oh, I completely agree. I work in the ER and one of the docs is a jerk about her EKGs. She says we should know what she writes, but she has, well, a doctor's writing and I can never read it. I'm pretty much reading Dubin's out of spite. 😛

Basic anatomy? I don't think "basic anatomy" will be of much help in medical school. Correct me if I'm wrong.
