Is there any easy way you can get license in US (state: TEXAS) ? so that you don't have to study more and can easily earn money

Is it easy to get job after doing residency ( not doing dds/dmd) ? i have heard they all prefer dentist with dds/dmd degree. If yes so how much salary do you get ?

I also have the same question. Can you get a license after completeing your residency (no DDS or DMD in us...only BDS from India)? I have heard from some sources that you can get into a 3 yr residency program without going for NBDE 1 or 2 and then you can apply for license.

What is the scope of this type of residency? like getting a job or starting your own practice?

Any help is appreciated!!

Thanks!!

Nice reply BombayBDS

But I think what's more important is to start a thread telling the various differences between this route and the traditional dds/dmd highlighting the advantages/disadvantages of both..

knock urself out.

Hi All,
do any of you have any idea about GPR general practice residency programs...
I heard that a one year GPR program from dental hospitals would help us international dentists to get a license to practice. if anybody could research and add confirmations to this thread that would be great...

hello guys, i dont think we r able to apply for GPR programs because we r international dentist. Please correct me if im wrong here. according to my acknowledge we r able to apply for AEGD and we r able to practice in certain States with that certificate. there is more details on ADA. its a post-doctoral program.

Hello everyone, i know that for FTD if we have 2 years of post-doctoral training we are allow to take the State board in certain States in US. Does that 2 years have to be the same program or in the same school? Can we have 1 year of GPR and 1 year of AEGD? or 1 year of GPR at school A and 1 year GPR at school B? Please clarify it with me thank you!!
