ECFMG certification and Residency

Guys,

couple of questions. USIMG and just finished last week of clinicals yesterday. School will start graduation process etc as soon as they get my CK scores (this wednesday). I am still working on my ERAS so questions:

1) Some programs (IM and FM) mentioned that ECFMG certification is required but they don't specify if it's needed BEFORE applying or by the rank list or by the time you start residency. Can i still apply because i am eligible for certification, it's just a matter of timing..

If you are IMG you have already missed the boat for this year my friend.... you try scrambling maybe, that would be cheaper at least while still ineffective

You're way too late to apply this season... As the poster above me stated you could try scrambling but keep your fingers crossed.
