Can anyone tell me which ECG abnomalities can possibly be found in case of severe hyperglycemia.

I can imagine the signs of hyperkalemia because potassium moves from intracellular to extracellular due to osmosis, but any others ? And why ?

thanks

Jacques

Magda, thanks for your reply.
Can you please tell me the mechanism behind these changes ?
What kind of axis deviations do you expect and why ?
Why is the QT interval abnormal (like in hyper/hypocalcemia, is it provoced by hyperglycemia ?)
