ECU and waiting

Just wondering how long it took for anyone to hear from ECU post interview and what the acceptance letter looks like?

6 months and 17 days post interview, sent in 2 update letters AND an LOI, and still no word from my top-choice school. 🙁

FYI, it may be a while yet...I have a friend interview on April 10.

Sweettea, You know what ECU says, no news is good news. Ive only been waiting since 2/24. WHen I interviewed there dean peden told us that half the class was full. He said they usually have a very small waitlist under 20 because usually around 12 decline.

This isn't what you want to hear, but I heard back from ECU 1 week post-interview. It was really strange, but I think it's b/c I totally connected with one of the interviewers and I think she really liked me.

As for the acceptance letter - it comes in a standard size envelope, so don't be expecting a big yellow envelope. When I get home I'll quote you the first few lines if you want.

thanks whatsupshah for the info. Im getting anxious now for an acceptance. I just got waitlist at slu and drexel this wk so I really need to some good news. Of course no one wants to hear no news is good news but thats what they say. I had great inteviews there and would really consider going there over drexel( if I got in) since Im in state....though living in Phili would be sweeeeeeeeeet.

For all of those waiting I just called admissisons and I interviewed 2/24 and was told my file had been reviewed once and would go to committee again mid april when interviews were finished. Offers would be sent out early May. More waiting.

sweettea, this is my 3rd time applying to Brody and when they really dont want you they reject you quickly (within 6wks) so you are in good shape.

Thanks sweettea, hopefully we could be classmates. ECU is an awesome school. I got several friends who are med students there and they love it. We just have to wait until the end of the month.
