So why not PhD? MD-PHD? Your app seems aligned with this.

While tutoring and mentoring underserved students is noble, it doesn't take you out of your comfort zone (coming in as a subject matter expert). This doesn't address "service orientation" which many schools are seeking in applicants.


Service Orientation: Demonstrates a desire to help others and sensitivity to others' needs and feelings; demonstrates a desire to alleviate others' distress; recognizes and acts on his/her responsibilities to society; locally, nationally, and globally.


Your vaccine clinic work also helps a bit, but you should seek activities that take you off campus and in front of others unlike yourself in need where you are not coming in as an expert. Typical activities includes food distribution (pantries or deliveries), community assistance for homeless or disadvantaged populations.
