Editing software for OR videos

Hey all

Any tips/tricks for efficiently editing OR footage from robot or laparoscopic cases? Any recommendations on software to use?

My wife the artist says you can use FinalCutPro or Premiere Pro from Adobe. If you're on Mac, iMovie. They accept all sorts of raw footage, and should be able to handle even proprietary formats.
