Hello, everyone.

This is my first post as I just joined the forum. I am glad I found this community so that I can share some of my many questions and hopefully get someone to help me with them.

I am preparing my application for dental school and have almost finished everything with the exception of my personal statement. The statement itself is 75% done and I should have it finished soon. What I need now is a good editor.

Is there a good editor any of you would recommend ? I have found some editing services on the Internet (such as EssayEdge, Accepted, CollegeEdge, AdmissionsEssays and others) but (1) don't know if they are they claim to be and (2) wonder if it wouldn't be better to work with an editor that I could actually speak to so as to receive a more personalized service.

What do you think ? Any experience you would like to share ? Any suggestions on a good editor ?

Thank you in advance,

I had my PS edited by some of my evaluators, friends, and family. Also, take it to your university's writing center, they may help you out with it as well. I personally wouldn't pay any service to edit it, as there are so many other resources that will allow you to do it for free.

The problem with this approach is that I am not near my college and it would be difficult to communicate with them so that I can get the personalized level of support I am looking for.

Considering the paid services, which ones are considered to be good ones ? Any ideas ? It seems Essayedge pops up as one of the first choices whenever I do a google search. Do you know if they are good ?

Thanks for your suggestions,
