Effects of MD/DO merger

Hey yall, was talking to a friend of mine( I am MD and hes DO) and was wondering who do you think the merger affects more whether that be in a positve or negative way? Or is it IMGs who will get the worst effects of it? Thanks for your input yall!

There are several lengthy threads about this, but I don't know how it would do anything other than benefit US MDs and hurt DOs, the extent of which has yet to be seen, it could be little to no change. Don't think it will impact IMG/FMGs much at all.

Alls I know is that I've gained 10-15 lbs since the merger. It will probably will be worse for the IMG's.

I think that it will be easier to predict the outcome of the 2020 Presidential election.
