ok so first aid and other sources says that E.Coli is a lactose fermented and it will grow on Maconkey's agar (red i think). but I swear I read somewhere that EHEC (like shigella and salmonella) dont ferment lactose and don't grow on that agar...

does anyone agree with me or am I having weird dreams about ecoli?
