Einstein interviewees, did you set up an appointment with a faculty member whos area of research interests you? I know we have the option of doing so? If you did, how was it and who did you meet with. Thanks.

i had my interview at einstein last week and i didn't set up an appt w/ someone...
i just had one interviewer that they assigned me...he was a psychiatrist.

I didn't set up any either.

Actually i would suggest you wouldn't (or even if u did would it matter?).

I am saying this because AE has the most low key interviews around. Yes you will talk about the healthcare system, HMOs, why medicine... BUT that is just a small part of your interview. Everything else will be about you, your experiences, your life, your family etc.
