Hey all,

I am having trouble deciding on whether I should take the financial hit to go on interviews to Kansas and Einstein-Montefiore (bronx). I have 8 other interviews and I was wondering if anyone had any input on these programs in terms of quality, numbers, location, and resident wellbeing.

Thanks in advance!

agree with above poster, 8 is a good number of interviews but it would be advisable to attend 10 or more if feasible

Thanks for the replies. I actually received 14 interviews but due to scheduling conflicts I am only able to attend 9 so far.

Can't speak personally of Einstein, but I interviewed at Kansas and was very pleasantly surprised. Very family-like as stated above, I felt comfortable with everyone and KC is actually a surprising great place with lots to do. Numbers sounded average, andit seemed like the quality of teaching in and out of the OR was really good. I'd definitely go if you can schedule it in.
