Does anybody know anything about this program? How does it compare to places like BAMC, Tripler, Walter Reed, Madigan, and Eisenhower?

Sledge, I was there for an internal medicine rotation, you can PM me if you like. I don't know much about housing there, but from what I understand, it is reasonable to buy or rent there. You are transitional?? I hope you don't want to go into internal medicine there and if you want more info than that, PM me. Unfortunatley, you will be owned by the medicine department as a transitional.

Thanks a lot for the PM and all the info! Hopefully transitional year won't be quite as tough as the medicine prelim is. Oh well, I'll just have to enjoy my elective months!

I am currently a transitional at EAMC in Augusta. You are NOT owned by the medicine department - thank god!!! Transitionals have a great life and not much is expected on medicine rotations as they don't own you!
Housing and Rent is both cheap. I bought even though I was only here for one year - yes, I will make money. Any more myths to be busted???
