Hey everyone,
I'm looking to buy an ipod to get me through medical school (downloading lectures) and also for the EK audio osmosis 12 CD set. My question is how much memory will the 12 CD's take up? Which size ipod would you recommend to cover the entire Audio osmosis CD's (1 Gig, 2 G, 4 G, etc)? Thanks again and take care!

you recommend getting a 2 gig mp3 player to get through med school (downloading lectures etc) or more memory than that??? Thanks

Recorder files are notoriously tiny, 2gig will be more than enough, as long as you regularly transfer into the computer.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a non-iPod mp3 player to use with Audio Osmosis and songs, etc. as well? I know next to nothing about technology and would appreciate some advice!

Take a look at the Sandisk Sansa series...I just picked one up to replace an ipod and it's packed with great features (recording, fm tuner, video, expandable memory slot)

Sansa e260 - 4gb
Sansa e270 - 6gb
Sansa e280 - 8gb
