EKG quesitons on step 1

question... First Aid for Step 1 does not cover how to read EKG or any EKG releated quesitons. but are there such questions on the real test? please let me know, thank you

I had one question on EKG's: an axis deviation question.

Other than that, it was pretty general stuff related to EKG's, or moreso to cardiology (like medicines and prolongation of Q-T interval, how that can cause Torsades, etc.).

My friend took USMLE last year and said there were several on her exam...But my suggestion is just go over basics. Know normal P, QRS, and T intervals. But definitely be able to identify ST elevation and heart blocks...I don't think it will be more difficult than that...Good luck 😛
