Hello all,

I've scoured the forum on information regarding Eastern Kentucky's new(ish) PsyD program. All I've really found was a thread from when the program was first created (in 2014 - ish).

I was looking to see if there is updated information out there - either by graduated students, or current students of this program that I could connect with? This school is on my list of "to apply" schools. As this school is not fully funded, it does appear to offer more tuition remission, assistantships, and credit transfers (from Master's degrees) than other PsyD programs.

Their APA match rates seem to be good (and on the upward trend) since the creation of the program. They are now fully APA accredited, etc. I've been eyeballing this program obsessively for a while, so I know the stuff I should know. However, looking to see if any of their students/grads are on SDN to receive some info about the training.

Also - before I get asked why I am not considering PhD programs - I am 😛 I just am looking for info/experience with this program as it is on my list as well as others (I got a split list, about 85% PhD, 15% PsyD that are not "professional" schools, diploma mills, $200k+ in debt... you guys have taught me well LOL). This is the only "new" program on my list. So, the others on my list have info/"reviews" out there, and this one does not have much...

Any feedback is appreciated and feel free to message me if you don't want to post here.

My limited understanding is that it has good personality/psychopathology and forensic psych training.
