I am presently trying and hopelessly failing to organise and elective in New Zealand. Could someone please provide me with any useful information. 😛

Try contacting the Overseas Elective Coordinator (Student Affairs Office) at Wellington School of Medicine. Telephone: 64 4 385 5465. I was able to set up an elective there a few years ago (didn't go though as an elective in Australia came through for me). 🙂
