Does any one know of any on going electives in CA for a visiting outside resident (from NYC) ?

The first question you should ask is will your program allow an outside elective... many do not.

Second, what are you interested in?

Ditto. I known plenty of people who have done them. You need to decide what you want to do.

etc etc.

Then pick which part of california you want to go to.
