Hello,
I'm going to be applying for elective rotations at UC-Irvine, UC Davis, and Maricopa in Phoenix, AZ... In August, I'm looking to do a fairly benign elective as I will be studying for step II (COMLEX at end of August and USMLE within the same week). I'd like to go to UC-I during that month, and am trying to decide between Infectious Disease, Cardiology, and Neurology at all three of these programs.
Can anyone help? Anyone who has rotated at any of these places, and/or if you have experience with any of these electives in general, assistance and advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to be applying to IM and am doing my sub-I in July and an ICU month in April.
