I decided to submit electronic LORs through AADSAS instead of using a committee letter for 2 reasons:
A) I couldn't get all of my LORs in by the deadline(March) for committee review at my school b/c I'm getting some LORs from my current professors and the semester hasn't ended yet.
B) The committee letters go out later in August and then there's also processing time at AADSAS and I don't want to have my application material in so late since some of the schools that I'm applying to have rolling admissions.
I requested 1 Bio, 1 Chem, 1 English, and 1 dentist this week and they will have the electronic letters in by late May/early June from what I've been told.
Lots of people having been telling me that not using the committee and opting for electronic is going to be off-putting for dental schools. Is it really a big deal? I guess I'm starting to worry about my choice in LOR submission.
