Hello,

I have signed up this month to be an ED scribe for a year-long program. I have scribed for 3 days thus far. Does anyone know if there are any good emergency medicine terminology books available? I would greatly appreciate your help. So far, I have googled the meanings of 6 words out of 100+ from the words listed on the H&P templates. I am a pre-med. 🙂

Google would be the way to go. Can you give an example of a word you dont know?

Here's one for you to look up:
torus palatinus/mandibularis

Had to find it recently for one of the EM docs I work with because he couldn't remember what name to give that little bump. 😉
