Can I just say that application/interview season has turned made me OCD about checking my emailing and my snail-mail mailbox? Just saying. I have turned into one of those obnoxious people who jumps every time my cell phone chimes or dings - hoping it is an email from a med school containing an II. I'm starting to annoy even myself. 😳

That's what I was like the day early decision acceptance emails were sent out. Every time I had an email I had a mini heart attack

Since the cycle started, I probably check my email about 5 times an hour lol.

I just use a different email account for all my applications, and it has a different vibrating pattern on my phone, than my other email accounts (which some don't actually vibrate at all).

My email automatically refreshes so I just do homework, Reddit, or SDN while keeping an eye on my inbox. It's like a mini heart attack whenever Ross University asks me to apply to their program. 🙁

To take it a step further, DAE feel sad whenever 5:00PM passes with no word from schools?

I actually find it useful.

Squinting with one eye to check my gmail first thing in the morning wakes me up better than anything else.

Do some schools seriously use phone calls for interviews invites? I never answer my phone when I get a number I don't recognize -_-

But can anyone actually confirm they actually got an II without an email? I looked this up months ago and I couldn't find anything about phone call IIs anywhere.

Ah, I see. I'm still living in 2003 where my phone only sends phone calls and text messages. 😛

Some schools make phone call II. You can check UCLA specific thread for example.

YES, i just developed a bad case this week. My uni email logs out every 20 minutes or so to build extra suspense.

I've had several osteopathic schools call with an II - however, (since this is an allopathic thread) no allopathic schools have- just emails from them.
