I am a first year resident and I am starting my first Psych month. Does anyone have a good source for discussion of emergency use of Neuropetics? I got a call from pharmacy the other day because our team had written for scheduled use of a neuroleptic, the patient had not signed consent and Jarvis had not been obtained. I agree that this was an order entered in error however I am not sure if this is something that needs to be written for by the MD on call.
