Emory is the top medical school I want to go to go, and I want a good shot at. Georgia Health Sciences/Morehouse is something I am considering, but I don't think it's worth it's price.

Hypothetical Applicant

GPA: 3.75-3.90
Competitive MCAT
3.5 years of Military Experience (non-clinical)
Prior Emory-undergrad student (transfer from Atlanta CC)
3,000 Volunteer Hours at a hospital (I plan to spend a year just volunteering)

Cons:
12 W's from a community college (with a 4 yr gap from returning to college, and 8 yrs from the time I apply again); can explain the situation too.
