Anyone use this? Thoughts? Wondering if it's a decent substitute for HippoEM.

Trying to find something decent to supplement Rosh questions leading up into the in-service.

It's still around, I believe. I just can't justify spending money on it since I get EM:RAP for free through my EMRA dues which are paid for by my residency.

Having just taken the real boards, I do not think Crunch Time is an equal substitute for Hippo. Hippo is more basic compared to Rosh or Peer and might be better for interns. I started listening to Crunch Time during my commute and it just takes too long. I have a short attention span and am not an auditory learner so maybe that's why I didn't like it as much. For 2nd and 3rd years, I'd recommend doing Rosh at least once to be golden for inservice. Interns would benefit from doing the videos to actually establish that knowledge base and doing the Hippo question bank. YMMV.

Agree with scummie though I am a fairly auditory learner. I liked crunch time for on the go board review but I listened to a chapter or two at a time bc short commute. couldn't do longer without losing attention anyways. think it would be most useful second or third year as an adjunct to rosh review. crunch time has good teaching to the test pearls which are going to be most useful if you already have a solid knowledge base and need to fill in gaps for boards.
