EMT at UCLA

Anyone here ever take the EMT courses offered at UCLA? Just wondering how it was.

It's kinda expensive if you take it here, so I've known UCLA EMTs who have taken their courses at a community college. Same training, just cheaper.

Yea I did that program in the summer of 2009. I really liked it.....the instructors were great and I did the 3 and a half week program so it was nice time-wise.

Super pricey though, but you get what you pay for.

Yeah, it's expensive. The only reason I'm taking it there is because of the accelerated 3 week course.

How were job prospects after the course?

Depends....

They looked pretty good if you were willing to work in los angeles and FULL TIME

But no one wants to hire a freshly trained EMT part-time.
