I had to take a second required EMT course for pre-hospital exposure to get my EMT certificate (not sure if this is the case for everyone else). Can I list this on AMCAS if I did this last spring but plan to continue it through an internship?

Be careful with any fire-rescue / EMS certifications you did not actively and meaningfully use in the field. You will spend some precious interview time "vetting" the value to your application.

I worked in EMS at the volly and career level for nearly a decade, both BLS and ALS, and still had a tough time roping it into how it will make me a better clinician. If you list a simple CE class, it needs to REALLY pop / be rare / pretty much what chaim123 said above.
