what's the difference between electronegativity (EN) and effective nuclear charge (Zeff)?
Zeff is the attraction a nucleus has for electrons, and deals with electron affinity (EA)... correct?
EN is the attraction an entire atom has for bonding electrons.
Isn't this almost the same thing?
