i have an intro (what i ultimately want to do), a paragraph on background (my research prep) and a paragraph or two on why i want to go to that specific school, but i can't figure out how to end my personal statement. i feel like i need a closing sentence or 2 and can't decide what to do. any suggestions?

Some variation of:

"I feel that I have the practical skills, academic qualifications, and intellectual curiosity needed to succeed in a clinical psychology Ph.D. program, and that University X is the ideal environment for me to do so. Thank you for your consideration."

Mine ran something like...

Thank you for considering my application. I have a strong desire to attend a program such as yours, which fits well with both my interests and my future goals. I look forward to the selection committee's decision.

But it was a little different for each program, depending on the content and tone of entire PS for that school.

I concluded by talking about how school X was an excellent fit given my interests in XXXX and the opportunity to work with XXXX and XXXXX.
