End of semester "shelf exams"

i've read the old posts on "shelf exams" but no one has really addressed the question of what to study from. I'd like to know what books people used for the:

Biochem
Neuro
Physiology

shelf exams?

I know BRS, PreTest, and Lippincott's are places to begin but what did you guys use? I also plan on going through 1st aid.

any suggestions?

I only took the physio shelf, and found that working hard in the class was sufficient to do well. I used BRS phys as an adjunct during my prep.

My neuro prof said the neuro shelf was WAY too easy (though I doubt it 🙂). The average scores pre-scale on his tests were somewhere in the high 50's.
