...when you are on the receiving end of it. Oh man! Not another round of root canal! Dentist said possible endo for me.

They are a breeze when done by a pro (I've had five...all molars).
The first was a PAIN, but was done by a kid fresh out of dental school in a DHMO setting (4 visits, infections, pressure build ups, mass quantities of ethromycin/hydrocodiene....YUK). The last four were done by an endodontist (1 visit each time w/ibuprofen for one day following treatment). Endodontist said the biggest secret was allowing the chlorine solution to sit long enough to kill all the bugs.

Is brushing and flossing enough to avoid getting cavities?
My teeth on the back of my mouth look like frankenteeth. They've had so many fillings done on them😡

It's really irritating having to do this.🙁

It should be enough to keep you from getting cavities on the smooth surfaces of your mouth. Some people, though, have cusps that didn't come all the way together on the back teeth; the pits and fissures that result from this can be impossible to adequately clean with normal hygiene, no matter how studious you are.

So if your fillings are all over the teeth, shame on you 😉 But if they're just on the biting surfaces, it may have been beyond your control.

Most of the fillings are on the top surface of the tooth. Dam, should take better care of my teeth.
