Hey

I got a letter from Michigan saying that I need to complete two more hours of English Composition. 6 are required.

I have already taken
Forms of Composition 4 hours
Public Speaking 3 hours
Principles in Business Communications 3 hours

Do you guys think those classes qualify for prereqs for English Composition and I should be fine? If not, what classes would I need to take? I just don't want to take anymore classes.

Comp II or call and see if a business and technical writing may work...

comp 1 & 2 should cover it but public speaking and communication classes do not

I got the same letter, saying that I need 6 hours of English 😕

I have 6 hours of English Comp AP, and 8 hours of Comp I & Comp II at my school (in the Business Writing and Psychology departments), so I would think that I'm done with that requirement..?

I think we should just call them up and explain that we have Comp I & Comp II done, and that it should count as English Composition.

Hey

Ok this is what Ive thought up. So at my school we have a gen ed requirement for Advanced Composition aka Comp 2. I took Principles of Business Communications to complete that requirement. That should be fine.

I also found that at the college that I would have to take the course since Im now at home also has Business Communications at its Comp 2.

The Michigan website just says English Composition, very vague.

Im gonna call Monday morning. Either way Im already sending in my deposit.
