English requirement

What is the general english requirement for dental school? Looking at school's websites it seems like it fluctuates - some want a year some don't want it at all. Should I just look at the the school's I'm applying to and decide to take english that way?

To be safe, take a year of it. AP Credit works. Intro to writing works. As long as its an English Section
