Enormous, unreadable paragraphs in secondaries

I'm noticing in every secondary I do that any multi-paragraph answer just becomes blobbed into one enormous paragraph. No matter how many spaces I put between the paragraphs, it just pushes them all together. Is this how it is for everyone? I feel like whoever looks over my app will have no way of reading any of it.

I've tried one space, two spaces between paragraphs, indenting, indenting after two spaces.. nothing works! ahh

The app is likely designed to eliminate excess spaces and blank lines. You probably won't be able to avoid it. However, since this is likely the case, the people at this institution are likely used to the problem. It's outside of your control, so I wouldn't worry about it.
