Hi everyone,

I'm applying this cycle (submitted my app in early June), but have realized I might not have enough clinical experience. I have about 60 hours shadowing in three different specialities, including primary care and ~300 hours volunteering at a nursing home. Should I get more experience like volunteering at a free clinic or scribing? Thanks!!

I'm just slightly concerned because some view nursing homes not as clinical environments, and it's my only experience. Should I start another activity and update the schools I applied to later? Thank you for all your help!!

If you have time and want to experience what a free clinic is like or are interested in scribing, then do it. Otherwise, what you have is good enough.
