Enough Jobs in ER after residency?

After residency are there enough jobs around where you want to live? Could you work in one hospital and work night shifts at other hospitals?

Anyone had trouble finding jobs after ER residency or the recruiters are always calling you?

Dude, I **** you not - as an EM-1, my mailbox was loaded with offers. As a 2, it's even more. If that is what comes to me, when I look, I am very confident I'll find something I like.

There's no problem getting great jobs in ER. I have a good job and could moonlight every day if I wanted. If you want to go to impacted areas you may have more trouble, places like San Diego, Denver, etc.
