Hello SDN,

Quick question on entering activities on the application..
What are you supposed to do for activities that fall under two different types of experiences?
For instance, I was a general chemistry review session leader (I kind of taught like a pass/fail recitation-type class). I got paid for this, so it is work. But, would it also be considered leadership?

I had a similar situation as you. I was a peer mentor/course assistant and I got paid too. I ended up putting it under the extracurricular experience section.

So, is it okay to be redundant for some things in the application? Not for a lot of activities, but at least for a couple things that are a mix of different types of things?

I personally wouldn't put it under both categories. Nobody wants to read the same thing twice. I would pick the category you feel is more important (I personally think leadership), or pick the category you might be lacking in.
