Entering experiences in chronological order?

When I enter experiences into ERAS, within each subheading (research, work, etc) will it automatically arrange things in chronological order? Or do I have to be sure to enter each experience into ERAS in the order I wish them to appear? I noticed in the "View my ERAS" or whatever they are just showing up in whatever order I enter them.

For me, they were automatically arranged in chronological order despite the subheading.
