what do you guys think... I have taken 6 credits of environmental studies at my university. Do you think AADSAS would classify this course as an "other science." The course title is "environmental studies," and it is offered through the scholars department at my school. Thanks in advance.

If the course is ENVI XXX it won't be counted as a science, at least it wasn't for me.

thanks for your input. Anyone have any other related expierences?

I am an Env Science major and all of my courses that were actually science-related were counted as "other science". I took Intro to Env Science and an Ecosystems class, and both of those were counted as such, among a few others. If the course is centered more on policy, though, it will be considered non-science.

Thats good to hear. Your courses were probably through a science department, correct? My Env. studies course is offered through our scholars program here at my university which will make it interesting where they will place the class. Regardless, thanks for your input

Really? I am also an Envi Science major and all of my ENVI courses were counted as non-science. The only ones that were counted as other science were the ones I took through the geology department. Now I feel like I was robbed of a few A's from my science gpa.
